I'm gonna be real with you—I used a service once. Junior year, overwhelmed, three papers due, desperate. The paper I got back was... fine. But it was also super generic and I had to rewrite huge chunks anyway because it didn't actually use the sources I needed. Total waste of $150.
What actually helped? Going to my prof's office hours and saying "I don't know how to structure this." She literally drew me an outline on a napkin. That napkin outline got me an A-. Professors WANT to help you. They're not scary (mostly). Just ask.
Also, the comment about providing your own research materials? That's just asking you to do most of the work anyway. Might as well do all of it and keep your money.
